Jim McPherson, PA-C
Born and raised in Hilo, Hawaii; Jim joined the Navy and started his career in medicine as a corpsman working in the surgical ICU and anesthesiology. He moved to San Diego after completing his service time and became a lab tech, vascular tech, anesthesia monitoring technician, LVN, and then an ICU RN. This, of course, was over many years in the medical field. Jim attended SJVC Physician Assistant program and was nominated class president. He has experience in total joint replacement, spine and general orthopedics. He is a member of the AAPA, NCCPA, WAPA and CAPA.
