Flora Wang, PA-C
Flora was born and raised in Honolulu, HI. She attended the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in human nutrition. This is where she first developed an appreciation for the importance of understanding patients’ diverse lived experiences. After her undergraduate education, she worked as a medical scribe and medical assistant in orthopedics. For her graduate education, she attended The George Washington University for a joint master’s program in physician assistant studies and public health. During her medical and public health education, Flora strengthened her passion to address health disparities on both an individual and population level.
Flora has experience in general orthopedics, sports medicine, and joint replacement. At OPA, she is part of Dr. Sean Toomey’s team. Her goal is to get her orthopedic patients back to a functional level where they can live a healthy, happy life, and continue to participate in activities they enjoy.
When she is not working, Flora likes to cook both new and familiar foods and experiment with ingredients to find the most delicious ways to prepare them. Staying active is one of her top priorities. In her spare time, she also loves to read books, listen to podcasts, and admire nature.
