E. Edward Khalfayan, M.D.

Dr. Khalfayan is an orthopedic surgeon, specializing in sports medicine, who the region’s professional athletes trust and rely on. He has been an orthopedic team physician for the Seattle Seahawks since 1996 and for the Seattle Mariners since 2006. Dr. Khalfayan is one of two orthopedic surgeons in the US who are head team physicians for both an NFL and an MLB team.

Dr. Khalfayan’s extensive experience with football and baseball injuries provides him with unique skills and knowledge that he uses in his private practice. He takes care of more professional athletes than any other orthopedist in the Northwest and provides the same level of care to his patients.

Dr. Khalfayan’s expertise is in: Arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder, knee, elbow, and ankle; anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction; arthroscopic rotator cuff and labral repair of the shoulder; ulnar collateral ligament reconstruction of the elbow (Tommy John surgery) and Platelet Rich Plasma injections.
