Archana Chivukula, M.D.
Dr. Archana Chivukula is a board-certified sports medicine physician dedicated to helping patients move better, feel better, and return to the activities they love. Over the past five years, she has cared for patients in both the Tri-Cities and Bellingham communities, where she has focused on expanding access to high-quality, non-operative musculoskeletal care. Her philosophy is to educate and empower patients while identifying the root cause of pain and fully exploring safe, evidence-based treatments before considering surgery.
Besides completing a fellowship in sports medicine, Dr. Chivukula has advanced training in regenerative and orthobiologic therapies. She completed formal prolotherapy training through the Hackett-Hemwall-Paterson Foundation and holds certification from the Gulf Coast Ultrasound Institute in micro-fragmented adipose tissue (MFAT). She offers treatments such as prolotherapy, platelet-rich plasma (PRP), and precision ultrasound-guided procedures, using advanced diagnostic ultrasound and modern evidence-based techniques to deliver individualized, effective care.
With more than 6 years of board certification and 15 years of clinical experience spanning general medicine, family medicine, and sports medicine, Dr. Chivukula brings a thorough, compassionate approach to each patient. She works closely with physical therapists and allied health professionals to support long-term recovery, and is fluent in English, Hindi, Telugu, and Spanish, allowing her to care for a diverse patient community.
Originally from India, Dr. Chivukula enjoys hiking, camping, biking, strength training, clean eating, and cooking vegan meals. She practices meditation and understands the challenge of staying healthy while raising a young family—an experience that shapes her commitment to helping patients build sustainable, active lifestyles.
