About

Dr. Auld’s practice includes sports medicine orthopedics and surgery for problems with the shoulders and the knees. His goal is to provide the care and expertise needed to improve or restore his patients’ quality of life. He has been the head team physician and is currently an orthopedic consultant for the Seattle Seahawks. He is also an orthopedic consultant for the Seattle Mariners. He enjoys outdoor activities, especially sports, both professional and amateur. He also is deeply involved in environmental causes, community service and education.

I instantly liked Dr. Auld. Very very professional and showed a lot of empathy and technical knowledge. He knew exactly what was wrong and was spot on! I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone. Dr. Auld has consistently been one of my favorite doctors- his explanations and advice have always been thorough and easily understood. My first surgery with him was around 2007 and I have been told by other doctors that the results were far better than they would have expected from the type of injury I sustained. I LOVE that he doesn't have his eyes buried in a computer during the entire visit, which is now standard with other docs. He is THE BEST!

Dear Dr. Auld, I want to thank you for the superb job you performed on the repair of my right rotator cuff. Considering that I had it repaired 14 years ago I am pleased with the outcome. I am impressed with your manner of taking me through the process of the repair, sharing with me the x-rays and MRI and explaining to me what I was seeing. In pre-op, you made sure that all of the questions we had were answered with language we understood. As a compliment to your surgery skills, on my first therapy session, my PT measured my range of motion and said "this is a fabulous range of motion for someone who has had two repairs on the same rotator cuff".
