Meet OPA Poulsbo’s Joint Replacement Specialist

Orthopedic Physician Associates is pleased to announce that James P. Crutcher, MD is now seeing patients at our Poulsbo Clinic.  Dr. Crutcher is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon who specializes in hip and knee replacement surgery.  He has advanced training in surgery for arthritis of the hip and knee, including degenerative, traumatic, and congenital conditions.  Dr. Crutcher performs over 450 hip and knee replacements per year including partial knee replacement, and outpatient joint replacement in selected patients.  In his practice, he uses advanced surgical techniques, and a personalized approach for every patient, in order to restore their quality of life and activity goals.  He was instrumental in bringing robotic-arm assisted surgery to Seattle in 2010, and continues to work on advancing this technology, including teaching other surgeons nationally and internationally.

Dr. Crutcher has been in practice in Seattle for 30 years, and over that time has treated many patients from the Kitsap and Olympic Peninsulas.  He is pleased to be able to better serve these communities by seeing patients in our Poulsbo location.
